The purpose in providing the Sensory Play Day is to offer kids with sensory needs and their siblings, multiple sensory based fun activities in a peaceful spacious outdoor environment where parents can feel supported and understood, relax, enjoy themselves and socialize with other parents. The Sensory Play Day is designed for families of children with special needs. Most activities are designed with children 2-12 in mind.
*If your children require a any special dietary consideration, please be sure to pack an appropriate lunch to meet their specific needs.
** Parents are expected to accompany and supervise their children throughout the time they are at the Play Day.
***The volunteers that are running the play day are not trained or expected to manage behaviors, children may have to wait in lines, take turns and will be expected to follow adult directives for safety. Please come prepared with the behavioral support you feel you need. It will ensure that your family has a safe and good time.
